Mobile Outreach Unit for Health and Support Services (MOUHSS)

Offers direct health and support services to any vulnerable people who might not otherwise get them.
Provides mobile outreach health and support services to Campbell River and the surrounding area. The mobile outreach unit offers varied services, such as counselling, wound care, diabetes testing, harm reduction supplies, as well as primary health care, prescriptions and referrals to other needed community programs. Services Include:
- Basic Health & Medical Care
- Harm Reduction Supplies
- Wellness Checks
- Counselling
- Connections to Community Services
- Physician Outreach
MOUHSS makes regular rounds through Campbell River, running several days a week. Current Schedule:
- Tuesday: Spirit Square, 8:30- 10:30am; Willow point by Tim Hortons 11:00am- 1:00pm
- Wednesday: Roberts Reach, 9:30- 11:00am (Breakfast & Nurse); Dogwood/ curling rink near Carihi 11:30-1:00
- Friday: Nuns Creek Park 8:00-12:00
